25=2 and 5 is 7
25 minus 7 is 18

58=5 and 8 is 13
58 minus 13 is 45

45 and 18 has same symbol

Figured it out in 2 seconds. It always ends up as a multiple of nine and all of the symbols for multiples of nine are the same. Problem solved!

the number you get is able to be divided by 9 NO MATTER WHAT. If you hadn't noticed all multiples of nine in the symbol chart are the exact same symbol, they just confuse you by changing the symbol each time. TRY IT

this is solution check
10 = 1 = 9
11 = 2 = 9
12 = 3 = 9
13 = 4 =9
14= 5= 9
15=6 =9
16= 7= 9
etc
than you have
20=2=18
21=3=18
22=4=18
etc
30=3=27
31=4=27
etc
it's is always the multiple of 9 so
watch at the symbols of
9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 ,90 etc they are the same

He can't guess the number if you choose 30 or 20, because 30 3+0=3 30-3=37 and 20 2+0=2 20-2=28 and it's not a multiple of 9

30-3 is not 37... It's 27
And 20-2 is not 28, it's 18...
You should go practice math more..

This game's trick is actually quite simple to figure out.

First, he asks for a number, and asks you to follow his steps, however not that after the steps your number will always become a multiple of 9.

Second, on the symbol page all of the multiples of the number 9 are the same but are mixed up so that nobody figures out the trick. Every try, the symbol changes and so does the order.

Finally, since your number is a multiple of 9, he will know the symbol no matter what your
number is

Not entirely sure whether someone has posted this already, but spoiler alert(!):

Let's say a two digit number is represented as XY, where X = 4 and Y = 3
43 is the same as 40 + 3, which would be in algebraic terms 10X + Y

When adding the two digits, it's the same as X + Y. 4 + 3 = 7

Subtracting (X + Y) from (10X + Y) would remove the Y term and leave you with 9X, so that any answer you would get is a multiple of 9 (up to 81). 43 - 7 = 36, and 9 * 4 = 36

The set of symbols change each time to spice things up a little, yet the 9 times tables up to and including 81 remain the same. It's a simple yet crafty trick.
