This section offers you practical advice and language for you to prepare for your speaking exams. The examiner or teacher won’t expect your speaking to be perfect, or for you to know every single word that you need to do the task.

However, if you don’t know all the words you need you should have a plan for what you are going to say to help you in this situation.

Hi gayter0203! I agree with you that speaking is nerve-wracking. But the more you practise before the exam, the better you'll feel. Have you read all the tips in theis section? There's lots of ideas to help you. If you're paying attention to pronunciation, you're probably doing a good job with it. Remember, your accent is part of you, and no one expects it to disappear completely. That would be sad. Try reading aloud to practise pronunciation and get used to your English voice!

Listening exams make me the most nervous, because I need to be so concentrated, and if I miss solely one sentence, I can make a mistake. That makes me concerned and anxious. I try to do as much listening tests as possible, and I think I'm improving my level:).
