- Mime what you want to say.
- Nod your head to show that you understand.
- Remember! In English-speaking cultures it is polite to look at the person you are speaking to in the eye. It is not rude.
- Look confused when you don’t understand. This tells the person you are speaking to that you would like an explanation.

I feel a bit problem while talking in english or even in my own mother language, looking into the eyes of the other person but now i am trying to overcome this problem.
Good point m.tayyab! In some cultures it may be rude or strange to look into the other person's eyes. But it is perfectly normal in most English speaking cultures. So keep trying. Eye contact always makes the conversation feel more natural and will score you extra points in a speaking exam!
