It’s really important to eat properly while studying for exams. A healthy diet will give you lots of energy. Sugary snacks like sweets and chocolate may give you short-term energy, but it is better to eat foods that give you lots of energy over a longer period of time. Check out our list of brain foods and try to make sure your diet includes lots of these things during exam times.

My tip: Chocolate!
If you can't avoid eating chocolate when you study than make sure you buy a "healthy chocolate". By healthy I refer to chocolate with a high percentage of cacao (over 70% at least), also known as dark chocolate. Chocolate is a good brain food! Next time you go to a store look for a cacao chocolate - they are usually marked well. Dark chocolate has all the vitamins you need (not as much as vegetables and fruits though). It can be of a more bitter taste, but some people actually prefer it that way ;) Me too.
That's great advice lux and an interesting link. I heard cacao chocolate also contains chemicals that make us happier. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, you're dead right. Dark chocolate is really useful for exam period. In addition,chocolate can help you to avoid feeling depressed. As for me, sometimes I feel depressed when I study for a long period of time and don't have any time to just go outside. Especially, I do when the weather is great....but! I have to study. So sometimes it is very useful to eat something tasty) But without fanaticism)))
well the list you mentioned includes very good and significant foods for brain particularly fresh fruits I have also heard eating coffee is very helpful to stay awake especially when we have to study till late at night.

I eat everything that you mentioned exept fresh fruit and brown bread.Fruit is very healthy for your brain,but I don't like the smell and taste,sometimes I eat strawberries. :)
