Hi Coordinators Joanna and Tina,
I'm really excited I've found this site, my final goal is to become an advanced english speaker, to accomplish my goal I've been learning English really hard, I belive that I'll achieve my goal very soon, once I reach my goal I plan to become an English teacher, It may sounds crazy for someone but I truly try.. Thank you britishcouncil for this site and friends and coordinators.

Hi Molham, and welcome to LearnEnglish Teens! Here in the listening skills section, you're in the right place to practise and improve listening. The more you listen, the better you will get, and you'll learn lots of useful new language too. If this page was easy for you, try level A2 or B1.

Now ... exciting news! We're working on a new speaking skills section! It's not ready yet, but look out for it later this year. Best wishes, Joanna (LearnEnglish Teens)

An other question...sleep is a verb, we can say: "your brain takes longer to sleep" or "five top tips for sleeping well"

Hi again shamim ;)
Yes, that's right!
Sleep can be a verb but it can also be a noun. Take a look at our online dictionary to see all its uses. On the right-hand side of our website you will see a box that says Online dictionary. Type 'sleep' in there and then click Look it up.
Regards, Tina (LearnEnglish Teen Team)

Hi shamim!
In English we would say 'I fall asleep as soon as I go to bed'.
Asleep is an adjective after the verb in this sentence - take a look at our online definition for asleep.
Best wishes, Tina (LearnEnglish Teen Team)

Hello to every one..
Actually, I'm not sleeping so much...Because I'm always reading or playing to my computer before to sleep.
If somebody could tell me how to change my mind with my computer, it would be great..
Does reading before sleeping has any effect??

Thanks for your answer. =-)

Hey Katana!
There's many disadvantages of using computer or smartphone before going to sleep. But book reading before going to sleep is very useful. It helps you relax plus it helps improve your brain power. It increases your intelligence and helps you get a good sleep but using smartphone or tablet to read books before going to bed is not useful. It keeps you awake longer and it hurts your sleep. Hope it helped you!

I sleep well sometimes but not often.
I often sleep 6-10 hours a day but sometimes I sleep 7-11 hours a day.
