What's the weirdest food you've ever tried? What was it like?
Do you know any other weird foods?

I think we can find the best foods in the Islamic countries like Turkey, Iran,Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries. They have food obsession. I have lots of friends in Europe; they believe most of Europeans eat good food but sometimes their food is very smelly or raw like fish, steak, etc and they don't care about food as much as other countries.
We eat sheep's bowel and offel in Turkey. Remove Kebab !
Yuck.
I can’t understand why insects are eaten.I can’t imagine to have one of these foods. By glancing them,it make my stomach upset. How people eat INSECT. Isn’t there any food left to eat on earth?
I'm hungry
But about other foods, I don't understand why people eat that. For example, fugu. It's not healthy and may be really dangerous if not cooked properly. Why do people want to play with their lives?
Hello.
I actually understand your feelings, but I think you're wrong. Insects are also animals. They also have meat. If it's proven that it is healthy, why should anyone refuse to it them? But we're all unique. Maybe you had a bad experience of eating them, i don't know.
P.S. I live in Ukraine, we don't eat insects here:)
I'm very sorry. I do not taste any rich food. But after these articles, I will even do if I will cook it myself.
Every country has its own dishes and traditions, but sometimes they can be very weird. Here in Morocco, we have a typically Moroccan, very greedy dish, which is made of beef feet, generally prepared during special occasions or during the periods of big cold. Originally, this recipe was prepared by the Moroccan Jewish families, which served it with hard-boiled eggs. In time, the recipe filled out, and today, we are in the habit of preparing it with chickpeas and raisins either with some crushed wheat or some rice. Every region of Morocco has it own way to prepare this dish that all my family like, including my father and my brother, except me. I think it's too heavy for my stomach.
here in Iran we have a strange food which is made of the sheeps head and the name is Kale Pache
I HATE DURIANS! I've tried some of them, and they are awful! I've heard of fried grasshoppers. Yuck!
Ow... But that's nothing, you know. In a program yesterday, a man ate a snake! And a live, wriggling worm! Oh... I didn't know how long I waited before I could eat!!! :pp
Fried Grasshoppers??! No way.
well, I have trided one time fried grasshopers, and I have to say that they aren't so bad
Hey all,
many of you say just "yuck!!", I know but we need to be aware of different cultures and customs existing in the world. In fact, some may think "yuck" when they know cup noodles & junk food is a kind of food!
꒰⁎×﹏×⁎꒱ ༘ؓ ँั๊ྃ
Yuck for noodles?? Never. I love them. But again. We all belong to different cultures.
But some foods like that one with lungs and heart of the sheep was literally something I couldn't even think of. Oh dear.
Yeah, I agree. Many people might think that way. And BTW, while we say 'yuck' to these things, we actually don't know what goes in our junk foods! I read a few messages about things that go in chicken nuggets, and I was like, 'YUCK!'
Great point!
And.... what are they that go in chicken nuggets?
Curious to know, I'm ready tosay "yuck!"
⌒⌒ ⌒ "⊂( っ☉ω☉)っ
Errr... It is really, really yucky, but the thing that goes in chicken nuggets is...
Pig skin!!! Just a bit, of course, though I'm not sure. It could be a hoax too.
But I'm sure of this, chefs do spit on our food if we complain. I've read about it, and my friend's dad, who's a chef, said the same. He thinks it's a yucky habit, and always stops his men when his boss isn't around.
And of course, there were hoaxes that blood was mingled in ketchup. Geez, I was a huge fan of ketchup myself. But I stopped having it after I heard that news. :(((
Oh dear, thanks for letting me know that. Not surprisingly, I was aware that chicken nuggets didn't actually taste chicken-sh!

Ha, good for you. There were some great chicken nuggets fans in my class and you should have seen their faces when I said it. They showed the same face you would when you heard that Games period is cancelled due to rain with a 'YUCK!' look!!! :)))))
Lol. When game's period is cancelled. Its really really frustrating. You described it amazingly.
Thanks hadia! It was a coincidence, the day I sent the message our Games period was cancelled due to rain. Gross!!! :((((
I know that feeling!! I've been through that many times during school.
Haha! Great description!
I think you should write something serious to let your heart open.
*:ஐ(●˘͈ ᵕ˘͈)人(˘͈ᵕ ˘͈●)ஐ:*
Serious and me? Geez, it's a hard combination. I'm not serious even when my teacher scolds me and fool around!;)))
And you are right, I should maybe try writing something serious. If I think of something serious....
Haha...
Then what about something curious??
*॰ْ✧ً⋆。˚٩(´͈౪`͈٩)⋆。˚*ْ✧ं॰*
Maybe. Curious... Curious... C-u-r-i-o-u-s... Curious?
In your true colours!

Well. That's for sure very yucky.
But are you sure all chicken nuggets have it. I think otherwise. Maybe the place where you found them, they made it that way.
Because, here, in Pakistan, chicken nuggets are purely chicken. Safe and healthy one. And pig is prohibited for Muslims to eat.
But the thing you told about ketchup. Yuck. Well, I was already not a big of ketchup.
I'm not, actually. I read it a few months back, but I definitely think it's a hoax. And according to my sources, even Hindus aren't allowed to eat pork and now Indians aren't allowed to eat beef. I don't know, I'm just an eggetarian.
