Who would you invite to a barbecue and why?

I definitely would invite all my friends, although it certainly doesn't count so much. A barbecue would be really nice along with them.

Hi, Im Elena and I'am from Spain. My level of english is low than my new classmates. I am new in a school, and it has a very high level of english. What I mean is that I need to pass an exam of the First Certificate and I dont even have the B1. So please, can you tell me if here there are exams of this type or if this website can help a little. I'm so bad writting and speaking and I saw these videos. They are so helpful but writting?
Really, I want to have a good level, one's of my dreams is be a translater or something relationed with languages and I dont know how be better at this.
Hope you reed this.
Thank you a lot.

Hi Elena! Welcome to LearnEnglish Teens :) I can see you're making an effort with English and that's exactly the way to make fast progress. Keep going! For writing, go to Skills, Writing and work on the B2 pages to help you improve. Many of these writing types are very useful for First Certificate, especially 'An opinion essay', 'A for and against essay' and 'An informal email'. Do the preparation task first, then read the text and do the other exercises. Reading and listening will also help you learn new language and improve your speaking and writing. Try to do a little bit of Enlgish at least three times a week and you'll really notice the difference! Good luck! Best wishes, Joanna (LearnEnglish Teens team)
