My Favorite Meal

My favorite meal is brunch on the weekends. Let me tell you the following reasons.
First of all, I love weekends’ morning because it is time for my family to get enough sleep time. On weekends, I don’t have to get up so early so my mom doesn’t need to lose her sleep time to make breakfast for me. And then, five days of the week, I usually eat the same food in the morning. I don’t have time to finish it at home so I bring it to school. However, when I am ready to eat it, it becomes cold and hard to chew. I don’t like the taste but if I have breakfast at home I’ll miss my school bus at 6:30 a.m. Weekends are very different. My parents usually take my sister and me to have brunch. I love brunch more than any other meal. There are usually a lot of choices: American hamburgers, English brunch (eggs, bacon, sausages, salads, pancakes, toasts with jam and butter) or Chinese styles (porridge, soybean milk, noodles, rice, all kinds of pickles, sesame cakes). Only on the weekends can I drink everything I want: juice, milk, coffee or black tea. I usually drink milk during weekdays, but on the weekend I drink coffee more than milk and other drinks. Coffee can make my brain think clearly all day, and it doesn’t affect my sleep at all! Most important of all, I love brunch on the weekend not only because of the food but also of the feeling. I like to be with my family because they make me feel comfortable and I can be real me. I don’t have to put the defense up or cover my emotions.
To sum up, my favorite meal is brunch on the weekend. I cherish the time with my family when I have brunch with them because it can bring me the feeling I love.

I really like dinners on weekends. On normal days everyone of my family eat singly. But on Saturdays and Sundays my mum makes dinner for us. Me and my sister help her. We eat a lot of different types of ham and cheese, tomatoes, rabbish, cucumbers and eggs. We drink tasty tea with minth, lemon, cloves, ginger and anise. I love these meals!
