Hi mavis2002,
Thanks for your message. Sorry you can't see the Magic Gopher. I have tested the game and it's working for me. Can you tell me please what device you're using and which browser and I will check it again.

Hi Natxu1303,
Thanks for letting us know. I've just tested it and it's working fine for me. We have been having some problems with this game but now it's working again :) I hope it is for you!
Best wishes, Tina (LearnEnglish Teen Team).
How does he do it?I can't understand. That's weird.
Of course he gets it right. You subtract the two nubers added from the original number. Example: 43. You subtract 4+3. Instead of taking 43-7, take 43 -3 -4. You will get the same answer. However this proves that no matter what nuber you choose you will always subtract the second number (in this case 3) to get a number that ends with 0 (in this case 40). Then the nuber you subtracted second can only be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 And the only possible outcomes will be, 90 - 9 = 81, 80 - 8 = 72, 70 - 7 = 63, 60 - 6 = 54, 50 - 5 = 45, 40 - 4= 36, 30 -3 = 27, 20 - 2 = 18 and 10 - 1 = 9. You might notice that all of these numbers are in the 9's multiplication table. That is because when multiplying by 9 you can instead multiply by 10 and subract the other number. For example: 5*9 = 5*10 - 5 = 50 - 5 = 45. First you add one 5 and then you subtract it again. 9*5 = 9*5 + 5 - 5.
Bro, you just cracked the code.
For me, this exercise did not work. I can´t see the game it´s just white. Please help??
Hi Emmobe,
Thanks for your comment. We have a problem with this game and a few others and we're trying to fix them. The Magic Gopher should be back soon! Sorry about this!
Best wishes, Jo (LearnEnglish Teens Team)
What would you have two-digit number you do not put forth - after subtraction of the two components can only get numbers of 81, 72, 63, 54, 45, 36, 27, 18 or 9. Look - in the symbol table, all symbols corresponding to these numbers - the same. Naturally, the square provides exactly what you "put forth"
And that did not raise suspicions, the picture is constantly changing.
That's the whole secret.
He guessed correct each and every single number...He is incredible!
This is magic!
This doesn't work on phone
Hi gore_ross, You're right, it doesn't work on a phone, I'm sorry. We're working to make all of our site mobile friendly in the near future. Best wishes, Joanna (LearnEnglish Teens team)
its a supid mouse never guess the right
.......................... This stupid mouse guess my 5 numbers in a row ...
Now let me explain you the reason. The number is 2 dight, so it should be (10a+b). Follow his instructions, it will end up as 9a. now you wold mention the mutiply of 9's sign is all the same.
He's a raccon, not a mouse!
He's a copy of Courage on Cartoon Network to be honest
I can't understand this game! Someone help me, please!
Simple! I dont know how but the game knows at what symbol you are looking at,and it can guess it.Try to do a random number, remember the symbol and try it again with the same number, look at another symbol and it wont guess the correct symbol!
Sorry for my bad English
Sorry danieldane but i tried that and he can guess your number simply because every answer you have is a multiple of 9,if you look at the symbol page all multiples of 9 (other than 90) HAVE THE same symbol!!
I cannot believe it, but it's true. I am both surprised and thrilling when I play this game.
the answers are always going to be multiples of 9
unknown number count is now 15 1 + 5 = 6, then 6 -1 = 5, and then look at the number of such 16 and voalya
it did it wrongly,haha!!!!
No, I think you did it wrongly!
