Hi Elsa, once I read your comment, I agree with you that it's not easy to find out a song which carries deep meaning and great melody. If a song is good at melody, its lyric seems to be simple.
Would you mind if I recommended you one of my favorite songs ? Sometime when I feel sad because of being isolated, I listen to them. I think they are more meaningful than" Mean".

Yeah, feeling the same way, Giang!
The song is amazing because she put that sad feelings (lyric) on a happy melody, which makes listeners feel somewhat positive♪ An encouraging song, isn't it?! ♪
By the way, I would like to share your favourite song!! I think an isolated feeling is very subjective. Actually I had an experience of puzzling over the feeling when I was younger, but now I think it's more meaningless to give in to loneliness!
I'm curious to know the song! ☆

Yeah. the name of this song is " beo dat may troi". It's the Vietnamese name. When I am alone, I listen to this song because it mentions to clouds and a small plant which float on the water. Our life have loneliness and sometimes we feel disoriented like clouds and that small plant. As you've said. the clouds wander on the sky and that plant float on the water, nobody where they belong to...
Bullying is a serious problem, it's hard for us to stop it but we can reduce it. Victims are often get stuck. The people who have never been bullied won't understand feelings of victims. It seems that when adults solve this issue, the result is not very good, sometimes it's even worse. In Vietnam, most of schools have cameras to control bullying and consequently, the students who bully others often choose alleys or deserted streets and corners to threaten and bully other students. Bullying stops after you graduate from high school.
By the way, the song that I recommended above is a Vietnamese folk song. Their meaning is very insightful.

Hi Giang!
Thank you for letting me know your favorite song! It's a nice melody and it sounds like a consolation which gives some comfort when we are alone. Giang, I imagine your wistful smile now, you could possibly be a person of letters by nature??

Hi iva10,
I'm sorry to hear this. I hope you managed to talk to your parents, a teacher or a good friend about this situation. How did the situation get resolved? I hope that you knew who to talk to and how to get help in order to make sure the bully was spoken to. It's always best to tell someone about what is happening and to get help and support as nobody should have to suffer bullying in silence.
Best wishes, Jo (LearnEnglish Teens Team)
