Now I think I understand the feeling of the singer, or I might be still far from touching his chord.
Anyway, at least I understand the same feeling when I remain in a state of biting the time, looking up in the sky, seeing light coming on everywhere.....
In that case, I devoured literally novels and journeyed alone toward an answer.

Sometimes, our words can't express exactly our feelings and thoughts. In addition, we often feel restless when standing next to people we love :). Therefore, it is appropriate when we let songs convey insightful messages that we want to send to everyone ! However, it is not easy to find out a suitable song for each situation.
I haven't had experiences in love yet so I don't know how well music can motivate and heal love, but I am fond of whispering songs for myself ! I only have a little appreciation of music, but I am able to choose good songs for every different moment !
If I had a boyfriend, I would ask Matsuo Basho for some advice. I like his poems because they are very short., in my opinion, my love should be brief, were it a poem, It would be Basho's poem, it's like bubbles in rain !

Still is a song containing sad feelings, I won't sing it for anyone, just listen to that song on my own.:)

Hello, genius ginaggiang!
I'm impressed, you're so knowledgeble! Actually the first line of your comment reminded me of one of Basho's poets which described couple sharing a still moment searching for words to say. Unlike Luke's song, this poem expresses a feeling of love.
By the way, you know what, gianggiang, a brief poem, in fact, has a immense emotions and insights. His poem is very short and sweet, and that's why readers can enjoy reading between the lines, I would say, so is love…!!

"Love is immense ", I'm not sure, but you may be true, Ken. Personally, I think it's just a poetic expression, isn't it ?. Love is tiny ?!, because it is just a special relationship between two people ! Okay, if you are humanitarian and have mercy, " love " can be understood widely. Additionally, I have never heard about songs mentioning to big/large/ immense loves, I only know about the song " A little love" ( Fiona Fung) !!!

Happy Lunar New Year ! Ken. I hope you are having great days ヽ(゚∀゚)メ(゚∀゚)ノ. I'm always on cloud nine these days. You know, Lunar year is spiritual to the VNese.
Yes, I know those songs, but I didn't think of them. Okay, I've just find a new definition for love: Love is like a Haiku poem ?!. Haiku poems are short but carry deep meanings and Love is tiny but immense?!
1)Yes, I'm young ( because I'm a teen ) and my brain is young, too huh? According to lunar year, I'm a dragon ( Scary ?).
2)Btw, thank you, Ken, for your greeting. Actually "khang thinh", not "khanh thing", but love it :))
On Valentine day, I'll find the best song for your girlfriend and you ! (Once again, happy lunar new year)

Hello, Draig Gianggiang!

Glad to know that you've discovered the meaning of 'Love' and will find a song for me and my GF!
Frankly speaking, I think my girlfriend is grown-up for her age, and I'd be on top of cloud nine if you found somewhere romantic song for us!
BTW, Giang, do you know the meaning of 'romantic'? :))
F.Y.R. "beautiful in a way that makes you think of love or feel strong emotions, not looking at situations in a realistic way"

Anyway, I'll appreciate your kindness! Looking forward to your best-of selection!

By the way, this song reminds me of a poem we learned in the class. I like the feeling in the poem. Do you mind my asking your thoughts about this poem, if you like?

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
…………..….. (continued)

That's really a very soothing poem indeed! It takes me back in the past, and reminds me of my school days! Huh, what an environment it was during the class when our teacher taught us this! Everyone was in his/her own thoughts :)))

Hi Elsa
I am sorry if this poem carries a deep meaning. I only imagine that the person who appears in the poem is a child. The child feels free and relax, s/he spent time wandering and admiring the peace of nature ( despite of a crowd )
However, I noticed to the word " lonely" ( It's a very precious word because if the author had used the word " alone" to replace it, the poem would have become simple and suitable for elementary students). The word "lonely" make me think of dandelions and its flowers. They dance with winds, they don't know where the winds will lead them to, but they are satisfied with their current situation without carrying about future.
In my opinion, I don't like " wandering lonely as a cloud", if it is possible I would like to be a wind that blow the cloud.
By the way, I have a song, I think that it's appropriate for this poem. Would you like to try listening to it ?

Wow, I like your fascinating interpretation! Marvelous! ☆
By the way, in my opinion, I like "wandering lonely as a cloud". Luckily, you would like to be a wind that blow the cloud? Then we are perfect, aren't we?!
Blow me up to the very heavens and keep off the storm cloud!! ♪

P.S. Is the song 'Bèo Dạt Mây Trôi' ? I'd like to know the lyrics. Will you tell me a bit about it, please?☆

OMG, Elsa, you are writing its official Vietnamese name, aren't you ? " Beo dat may troi" is not the most suitable song for your poem:D. The song that I recommend here is " Dong xanh', after listening to this song, I believe you are really like " wandering lonely as a cloud" like the female singers who performs the song. She feels totally comfortable! It is a bit opposite with "Still".
By the way, the song " Beo dat may troi" is a love song, the woman and the man loved each other but unfortunately, there wasn't no happy ending for them because of some reasons. The woman still waited for her lover despite of time and distance. She feel melancholy and didn't know what to do. She used the small plants to express her feelings. Her feelings are so calm and slow. ( It's not as fast as feelings of the man in the song "still")
Well, about the lyric, I tried my best to translate it:D, and here is the result : Water ferns drift, clouds float ....far far away/ My love, I still waiting/ Clouds still float, birds still sing and fish still swim/ I am waiting for you/ why you are still far way/ There is a lonely moon in the dark night / It is moving,too/ When I wait for someone, I am awake all night and the dawn is coming/ I still wait but you hasn't come yet/ Time goes by slowly with stars/ hey, far away person, do you know that I am here watching birds flying, why don't you come ?/ Birds, can you help me send my
letter to him, please !.....I am waiting for something and some one......but they hasn't come yet !
I think this song is quite similar to " Still" :D
Very long ago, Vietnamese farmers started writing and singing songs about love. Are they romantic ? :D

Thanks a million, Giang!
Your are like a walking library! Happy to know your wonderful interpretation and translation!
I imagine you're just like that female singer (Vy Oanh) in the video I watched…?
As I don't understand the lyrics, I'm not sure if it refers to 'wandering lonely as a cloud', but anyway that's a nice song, isn't it?
I also tried to find a suitable song, and what about these?
1) Clouds or Spaces (ID!)…I bet the melody of Spaces is more associated with 'wandering…'?
2) Clouds (Zach Sobiech)… Oh dear, the story behind this song makes me cry...!

Anyway, yeah! I really think 'Beo dat may troi' is so romantic! If I met a someone just like one in the song, I would love to hold tight in my arms!☆
I do hope to see the woman's long-cherished dream realized anytime soon!
We'll behind her all the time...☆

Hi Elsa, I like Zach's song ( and the story behind the song ) It reminded that life is as beautiful as clouds and life is not long enough for us to feel the whole its beauty. If you miss your life, you won't have chances to enjoy it again. ( You can't see a cloud twice times .:). If life gives us many difficulties and sadness, try to pass them.Don't just lie on the ground! We are much more luckier than Zach.
BTW, yeah, everyone agrees that I am like Vy Oanh. She is quite beautiful and so am I :D. My hair used to be long as her.

Hi Giang, I enjoyed your interpretation of the song, you seem to be mature!
Yeah, the song sounds like somewhat wistful with a hidden agony of one's impatience and feeling left alone… In my case, whenever I incline to feel melancholy, I lie down on the ground (bed!) and see the clouds moving in the sky or shadows passing by just like him! During that disoriented time, I fancy myself as a poet, as I heard that this was common with Hermann Hesse, a great literature. I like his works, have you read some, Giang??

Hi Elsa. Thank for your compliment !
When I read your comments about songs, I am very interested because there are a lot of new words for me to learn !
In the song " Still", I liked the moment when the train was moving quickly but the man was very calm. Quick and slow, calm and impatient.
I discover that trains are very common in songs. I remember once I listen to a Japanese song. In the video, after breakup, the young woman and man came back to see each other the last time. Unfortunately, the moment when their eyes saw each other, a train passed by. ( Each person stood at each side of the railway.)
Oh, I almost forgot, I know a little about Hesse, I have an audio book of his. Siddartha. ( You know, I am not diligent enough to read long novels, so I listen to audio books!)

Hmm, what an ironic story in the Japanese song! Was it a coincident or meant to be…? There're myriad of stories in our life that we never know, aren't there?
By the way, an audio book sounds nice! Hope you can enjoy 'Demian' and 'Beneath the Wheel' as well. ☆

While listening this song, I feel that the man lost something in the past and until now, he mentions to it. At first, the sound of musical instruments make me think that the men felt a bit regretful , heartbroken and hopeless. He seems to be waiting for something but it never turn up. Then, I feel that his burden was less and the man was more relaxed after interacting with the melody.
I have a vague thought of listening the expression" Light is coming on everywhere/ Time is running
year on year/ River ever rolling but I'm still standing here /.In my first opinion, the man realised that he fell in sorrowful feelings so long and didn't pay attention to everything around him, he knew that he needs to change. However, in my second eyes, I think that he was completely disoriented, he felt scared and didn't know where he should belong to because everything was moving while he is still standing.
I guess that the second sounds more suitable because when I watched the video, the man was lying on the ground and seeing the train passing and the clouds moving. He felt restless but he was very calm, too. As you can see, he lied on the ground, sang, played the guitar and his face was calm ( I am sad but I can suffer )
I feel somewhat melancholy when I saw shadows passing by him and the sunshine went through branches of the tree.
Anyway, I like this song.
