You have to choose the word that is different from three or four words.

  • Read all the words carefully.
  • Find a connection before you choose the word which is different.
  • If you don’t understand a word in the group, it may be connected to the other words. Don’t choose a word because you don’t understand it. Find a connection first.
  • Sometimes you have to explain why it is different. Check the instructions.
  • If you don’t know the word which is different, guess. You may be right!
  • Check your answers carefully when you finish.

On the first one is hospital,the other words are professions.
On the second is german,that´s a Nationality not a country.
On the third one is uncle,the other words are female.
On the fourth is smart,it is not clothes
On the fifth thursday,it´s a Day of the Week not a Month.
On the sixth is first,that´s an ordinal number
On the seventh I don´t know wich one is the odd one and why, I think it´s bad instead of mean? Please help me.
On the eighth red,that´s a colour not a verb.

Hi MALINE! In question 7 'bad' is the only negative adjective so that's the odd one out. You did well in the exercise :)
