Host: At exam time it is important to sleep well. Today we have Doctor Baker with us in the studio and he is going to give us five top tips for getting a good night’s sleep. Welcome to the show, Doctor Baker. 

Dr Baker: Thank you. It’s great to be here. Let’s start with tip one. Don’t go to bed with the television on. Some people think they can sleep well with the TV on, but the noise and lights mean you don’t really sleep well, so turn it off!

Tip two: Don’t think too much before bedtime. Do your hardest homework earlier in the evening. Do easier homework later. If your brain is too busy and full of ideas it takes longer to get to sleep.

Tip three: Don’t play video games for an hour before you go to sleep. They also make your brain too busy and active. 

Tip four: Turn off your cell phone when you go to bed. What is so important that it can’t wait until the morning? If possible, leave your phone in another room. 

Tip five: Play music if you like. But don’t play it too loud. Turn the sound down low.

I have insomnia and I always watch tv in bed so... I have to change my habits, because I usually have a bad night's sleep.

Thank you, I will take your advice and put it into practice. I sometimes leave my cell phone in another room, I don't have video games and I listen to music with a moderate volume.

I think that I sleep well, but it's difficult for me, to stay far of my cellphone or leave it in other room.

I have never slept well since I was little, I go to bed late because sleep does not catch me and I tried trying to go to bed early but sleep does not catch me, I sleep approximately 5 to 6 hours or until less sleep is removed early

I cant sleep well, cause i spend a lot of time on Youtube or Netflix, and i belive that i sleep 5 hours

last day I did hiking from 06:00 p.m until 10:30 p.m because of that I slept meby 12:00 p.m but at 04:00 a.m the electricity off and that means no aircon after that I woke up I could not sleep. now I do the fajr pries I will go back to bed I will try sleep.

Well, I don't sleep as I'd like to! I use a lot my computer for studying. Sometimes I can't wait 1 hour before going to sleep and when not having to study I usually take long naps. I sleep 5 hours depending on if I have to study or not!

I sleep very well. I usually go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 8 o'clock, but that is when summer breaks. When I go to school, I usually sleep at 10 o'clock and wake up at 6 o'clock.

I think it sometimes. When today or tomorrow has some special event, then I was very excited so I can't sleep well. I just keep thinking and about it. I often go to bed at 10 p.m. and I wake up at 7 a.m. So my daily sleep is 6-7 hours a day.

Well, I do not think so, I am a person who actually sleep like 5-6 hours, honestly I always fell so bad after wake up so my conclusion is that you should sleep the 8 hours that the doctors and scientists recommend for all the people

I think I sleep well. I go to bed at 10 o’clock p.m. I don’t play games for an hour before I go to sleep. I don’t think too much before bedtime. Because if your brain is busy and full I will sleep very bad. I don’t watch TV before bedtime.
