Shop assistant: Can I help you?
Customer: Yes, have you got this T-shirt in other colours?
Shop assistant: We’ve got it in white, black, red and purple. What size do you want?
Customer: Medium.
Shop assistant: OK, in medium we’ve got black and red.
Customer: And in purple?
Shop assistant: No, just black and red.
Customer: OK, red. Can I try it on?
Shop assistant: Yes, of course. The changing rooms are over there.
(pause)
Shop assistant: Is it OK?
Customer: Yes, I’ll take it.
Shop assistant: That’s £10.95. Would you like to pay by credit card or with cash?
Customer: Cash please. Here’s twenty.
Shop assistant: OK, thanks, that’s nine pounds, 5 p change and here’s your receipt.
Customer: Thanks. Bye.

The last thing I bought was a T-shirt.
It has an anime theme and there is something written in Japanese on it.
And by the way I study Japanese and that's why I bought a T-shirt with an anime theme on it...

Linen (70/30; cotton/linen) pants was the last item of clothing I bought. I bought it online from Shein. They're a bit baggy and comfortable. Now I can't buy things from Shein from Russia, so I'm happy, that I did in winter.

Hi Sherry4869,

The price of the T-shirt is £10.95. 

The customer wants to pay in cash and gives the shop assistant a £20 note.

The shop assistant gives the customer £9.05 back - this is called 'change' (the money that is returned to someone who has paid for something that costs less than the amount that they gave).

When we speak, we can say 'nine pounds, 5 p' for £9.05.
