Some years ago, I didn't have phone, so I always asked anyone to find road. But now I'm having my phone and it's useful to find road by google map. But sometimes, google map is wrong so I still need to ask someone
I would like to ask those people who live there or work there.
I will ask people around there. If there aren’t any people there, I will phone my parents for help
First i call my mam or dad
next i open GPS and stay here
I don’t like a lier...!
I usually use GPS
I ask somebody around whenever I get lost.
But, recently, it's difficult to talk to someone. People are busy using smartphones or wearing earphones on the road...
I can only talk to aged people taking time and practice...! ;)
I usually use Google map
I will ask for help
I try to ask someone if he can help me to find the place
Ask!!
Dear Editor,
My english teacher tought me " go straight ahead " but in this listening part you use " go straight on " ı wonder is there any difference between these two phrases in daily usage.
If you answer my question ı would be happy...
Hi bilko. Those two phrases have the same meaning and in general you can use either one.
There's a small difference in usage: 'go straight on' is often used after some place that you mention (e.g. 'After the traffic lights, go straight on') and I think 'go straight ahead' is less common for this.

I would look for a map of the city on the internet

I would tell a policeman if he could help or if he would not ask people

Well, if I have a cellphone with internet I search the location to the place I wanna go, but if I don't have one, I look for someone to ask him to tell me some directions to the place that I want to go.
I look for help with the police
I see where I am, and I call to my mom.
I call my mom, if she doesn't answer I call my father, but if he doesn't answer I call my sister and finally if no one answer my call I just open waze and walk around.
I would seek help from other people
When I´m lost the first that I make is check on my phone the map and check where I am, then call my mom or my dad and say them that I´m lost and that come for me.
I use my cellphone or I ask someone the name of the street.
