Adventure travel

Time for an adventure?

Are you a bit bored with your nine-to-five routine? Have a look at our exciting range of holidays and decide what type of adventure you’d like.

Activity holidays

Our activity holidays are for everyone, people who love danger or who just like sports. We have a huge variety of water, snow or desert holidays. We’ll take you SCUBA diving in the Red Sea or kayaking and white water rafting in Canada. If you prefer snow, you can try skiing or snowboarding in the Alps or even igloo-building. For those who like warmer weather, we also have sandboarding (the desert version of skateboarding) or camel safaris.

Polar expeditions

Take a cruise to Antarctica or the northern Arctic; explore a land of white natural beauty and wonderful wildlife. Our experts will explain everything about the two poles as you watch the penguins in Antarctica or whales and polar bears in the Arctic. There's no greater adventure than travelling to the ends of the earth. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Cultural journeys

Our cultural journeys will help you discover ancient civilisations: India, Thailand, Egypt and many more. Visit temples, palaces and ancient ruins – just remember to bring your camera! Get to know local ways of life by exploring markets, trying exotic foods and meeting local people.

Trekking tours

We have trekking holidays to famous places such as Machu Picchu or the Everest Base Camp Trek, as well as some nearer to home in the Highlands of Scotland. You don’t need to be very sporty, just fairly fit. You’ll have a great time enjoying nature with a group of new friends. Some of the holidays include camping, but we’ll transport the tents for you!

Wildlife holidays

We organise small-group tours to get closer to nature in Africa, Asia or South America. Go on safari in Africa and watch lions and giraffes. Meet the famous turtles of the Galapagos Islands. Look for tigers in India, or take an elephant safari in Sri Lanka. We use local guides and stay in a range of accommodation, from tents to tree houses.

The best holidays I ever had were in Peru. I was in Cuzco and climbed Machu Picchu with my family. We traveled by train and took a photo near the snow-capped Veronica. Days later we were in Lima and walked its streets.

I'd visited Dacheon with -only- my mom, and it was quite great time with my mom ever. But the best holiday I have ever had was the trip to Suncheon, with my maternal grandparents. I'd visited Suncheonman seupji, which means 'the swamp in Suncheon' in Korean, to explore the ecology of mudflats directly. Also I'd been Bosung, where is famous for it's green tea field and the Metasequoia Road in Danyang. It was the best time ever in my life, but I was with my family, and the other best time which I'd spent with my mom is the trip to Dacheon. In Dacheon, I found several starfishes, and I made the greatest sand castle among I'd ever built too. The sunset in Daecheon was just great. And I'd rode the railbike, which I can watch the whole beautiful, fascinating seascape. I also swam in the sea, took a sand bath in the hot sand, and took a nap in the tent. It was just great time, and I can't forget it as long as I alive. And there is the famous annual festival in Daecheon. Maybe you would know it too even if you're not Korean. Its name is... "Boryeong Mud Festival"!!! As you know, it's the global festival, which you can enjoy the mudpack as mauch and long as you wish. There is the mud-slide, the mud bath, and people should roll on the mud. They throw the mud. They do backspin in the mud. They shoot the mud-gun to each other. It was the best holiday in my life with my mom.

My best vacation was when I went to the six flags amusement park in Mexico City, it was a very fun day that I spent with all my best friends, we left from 6 in the morning to arrive early and from the beginning we were very lucky as that the games did not have that long a line, we went to quite a few games and we ate hamburgers together at the end of the day we returned very exhausted on the way, it is a vacation that I will not forget.

I like all these holidays, because I like nature and wildlife. Well, I would like prefer Polar expeditions ( because of possibility to see penguins and whales) and Trekking tours because I really like mountains (I was born in Siberia, perhaps because of this). My best holiday was a camping in mountains with my family. It was about 5 years ago, but I really good remember it. We had risen to the mountains and laid out our items. Then we made a fire and eat some food. We had told a lot of stories each others and it was really funny. Me and my brother had ran around the fire and had sang funny songs. I will never forget that. It was the greatest holiday in my life.

The best holiday day that I have ever had was this summer when I had a three-day trip to DaNang with my big family (my uncle, aunts and cousins). The first day we arrived at the airport at 7am, but we booked homestay at 11am. Therefore, we went around DaNang and ate Mi Quang. At night, we went to Hoi An and took lots of pictures. The second day, we went to Ba Na Hills. My family and I had a good time together. The third day, we bought some souvenirs and returned to Nha Trang. On that three-day trip, the most fun time was that my cousins played cards until 2am, then we sang together and overslept.

Then we went to Heilo night market to eat something and take photo together.it had free ticket . Finally, we came to Tien Sa beach , we all love beach , so we had long day in the beach. After that we felt tired but it was really fun.

I had been to Da Lat in my holiday. Although it was summer, the weather was a little bit cold. Da Lat is mostly comprised of a scenic mountain town that used to be a hill station during the French colonial period, so I came there in search of cooler weather (but it was colder than I though). I had visited many places such as Bao Dai's summer palace, Linh Phuoc Pagoda,... and the most I loved to visit was Da Lat flowers garden. It was such a beautiful place, so many flowers in there and I had also taken so much my photo when I was there. Not only having visted popular places but I also came across some coffee shops. I was so exciting for taking some pictures when I was there because of the beautiful scenery of Da Lat. I hope to visit Da Lat again!

That's so great. And I can get knowledge from travels. I think when I travel, I'll enjoy my trips and don't care my seasick or carsick. I'll try some adventure sports such as Cultural journeys, Wildlife holidays.

One of the best holidays for me was a trip to Sapa (Lao Cai - Vietnam) with my family last summer. Sapa has long been famous as one of the attractive destinations in the summer along with other interesting destinations like Dalat or Ba Vi of Vietnam. Sapa is not only known for the typical climate of high mountainous regions with cool year-round weather, but also attracts a lot of tourists to visit and relax by its special cultural features. And through this trip to Sapa, I had a lot of interesting and new activities when I was immersed in the daily life of local people here with very simple customs along with the colorful festivals held every year, and especially the dishes with bold traditional flavors of the land and people of Sapa. Although this trip to Sapa actually only lasted about a week, it has helped me gain more interesting practical experiences as well as useful knowledge.

The best holiday I have ever had is field trip in Phu Yen in the last year. My university organized the field trip for language students to broaden our horizons and understand more about culture, people and nature in Phu Yen province. In particular, we visited many places such as: Da Dia Reef, Mang Lang church, Nhan tower and Lighthouse. we stayed one night there. For each location, we visited about one hour, and then we were enjoyed some specialties in Phu Yen such as 'Banh canh he', chicken rice, grilled rice paper and so on. they were very delicious. I liked best to be taken some photos at Da Dia Reef because the way stacked stones looked like big plates, which looked great. even though we went for two tired days, it was really interesting and helpful.

I really love eco-tourism. Last summer, i had a chance to explore to the Southern Vietnam such as Can Tho, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu and so on. Particularly, i was so impressed for the first time I had set foot in Ben Tre because the atmosphere and the people here was so nice. I throughly enjoyed the local fruits, coconut products, the views, the boat rides and bought some handmade souvenirs for my friends. Moreover, the prices was also reasonable. After the trip, I felt so happy as i had a wonderful moment with my family and enlarged my knowledge about Vietnam.

2 years ago, I went to Phutubburk,Thailand. This place is located on the high mountain. I took for 6 hours to reach there. When I was bored in the back-seat of the car , I thought it would be just a normal mountain with a small village and the photos on the internet was a liar but finally, when I reached there...it was amazing. The cold air touched my face gently. There were a big flat area surrounded with green and pink flowers. The pink flowers looked like Sakura in Japan but it was not. There were a lot of garbage field, stawberry farm and a little wiheyard. My mom went to the strawberry farm everyday to keep the strawberries my ourselves. That's cool. There was no high building,no signal internet, no department store but I didn't get bored (yet). The air was clear,no smoke and dust. Everything was flesh. It was a good place to avoid hot whether in Thailand. I recommend you to travel there around Dec-Jan but not in New year celebration period. I know you don't want to miss this trip. Come to feel what netural buids for us.
