Presenter: What you see behind me is a 3.3 tonne structure made out of waste. We call this giant the WEEE man because it’s made out of Waste, Electric and Electronic Equipment. In fact all of this stuff represents the ... an average British household's waste generating during its lifetime. At seven metres high, it has sinews made out of lawnmowers and mobile phones, teeth of computer mice, ears of satellite dishes and a brain built from computer parts. Me and you as individuals have the power to reduce the amount of waste that is going to landfills. For example, we can stop buying cheap products and we can recycle our old appliances or even better we can fix them.
What do you do with electrical items that you don't use? Do you think it's important to recycle?
